In the early morning hours of the 4th of July, the West Grove Fire Company was dispatched to the 100 block of Maple Lane in Toughkenamon for a working house fire to assist Station 23 Avondale. On Saturday July 7, crews spent the evening assisting Station 21 at Freedom Fest in Nottingham Park. Crews stood by as thousands gathered for an annual Southern Chester County tradition. WGFC Conducts Vehicle Rescue Training

WGFC volunteers, June 25

On June 25, 2018, WGFC Volunteers participated in vehicle rescue training at Station 122 in New London. Members reviewed vehicle hazards, scene assessment, vehicle stabilization and extrication procedures. Utilizing various Hurst hydraulic extrication equipment, groups practiced door removal, roof removal, and dash roll/lift techniques.
