Early Saturday morning, West Grove first responders were sent to a reported vehicle crash on Route 841 at the intersection with Old School House Road.
At 645am, a passerby noticed a pickup truck off the road into the woods and called 911. The pickup was about 25 feet off the road, and had slammed into a tree. Engine 22-1 arrived along with Ambulance 22-1. Crews found a badly damaged pickup with airbags deployed, but no victims in the area. The engine compartment was also cold, leading providers to assume the crash happened overnight.
Crews searched the crew cab and the area around the cab and then turned the scene over to State Police. Also during the overnight hours, crews handled a gas alarm on Parsons Road in Franklin Township and a reported dryer fire on Peach Tree Lane in London Britain Township.
