| We are so fortunate to have the support of many local businesses to help keep the West Grove Fire Company operating.
When a very heavy pallet of hose for the new fire engine (coming this spring) was delivered to West Grove, firefighters had the challenge of moving the pallet down to the London Britain Station without having to unload all of those by hand. In stepped Ken Gent of K & T Automotive of Landenberg who offered one of his rollback tow trucks to haul the load. The thousands of feet of hose for the new engine are being stored at the London Britain station awaiting the WGFC's new Seagrave engine which will arrive sometime in 2026.
Ken and his team have always been great supporters of the fire company, so no surprise that his team jumped in to help. We thank Ken, and urge the community to show your support and thanks to Ken and his team as well. |
