West Grove Fire Company firefighters responded to a nearby Lakewood Farm housing development in the northern section of New Castle County for a house fire that went to three alarms on Sunday.
Dispatched to assist the Hockessin 19 Fire Company, WGFC units arrived to assist first arriving crews in interior firefighting on the well-involved fire, with early reports of fire from the roof that extended across all floors of the large home. WGFC crews observed a large header of smoke as they drove into Delaware.
