| Why did you join the fire department? |
Having grown up in Philadelphia right down the street from a very busy fire department, I've always wanted to be a firefighter. Now I am able to give some time and help the community while fulfilling that old dream. :^) |

| What are your hobbies and/or interests outside of the fire department? |
Husband and father, Martial Arts, music (drumset specifically), Bible study, Christian Apologetics, reading, Scuba (wreck diving). |

| What do you like best about being part of the fire department? |
Real opportunities to help people right here in our community. The camaraderie of the department. There are more people here who have your back then you can believe. I had an emergency with my daughter back in March of this year (2012) and was blown away by the support I received. Much of it was from people that I wouldn't have expected. This is a good group. |

| What is your most memorable incident? |
There are several. One that stands out was an accident on Evergreen St. It was only a few days after graduating Vehicle Rescue and I had the cutters to take the roof posts. Since I was doing it with members who took the class (and even one instructor from class was present) it went just like it did in training. |
