The West Grove Fire Company was dispatched to assist Cochranville Fire Company, Station 27, with a mobile home fire on Londonderry ct in Londonderry twp. The Southern Chester County area was hit hard and still recovering from the aftermath of a major storm that crippled the area. The dispatch brought Ladder 22, Engine 22, Engine 12, Tanker 22 and Ambulance 22 to assist. Ambulance 22 arrived first on scene and reported smoke showing from the trailer. Engine 27-2 was the first suppression piece on location and they went into service with an 1.75" handline and extinguished the fire. Additional arriving crews assisted with checking for any extension. Tanker 22 remained available on scene along with Engine 27-1 from station 27 to cover the 27 local.
