Last night Family and friends gathered to celebrate the graduation of the Chester County Emergency Services Summer EMT Class. West Grove Fire Company and Ambulance Division member Stephanie Biondi was one of the graduates. The EMT course is usually a three-month commitment, meeting twice a week in the evenings plus some Saturday classes, to complete the 140-hour class requirements. The summer EMT course however, is just 6 weeks long, with class meeting Monday thru Thursday, for 8 hours each day. Stephanie gave up summer vacation to complete this course on her own time and graduated with her Pennsylvania State Emergency Medical Technician. We look forward to seeing her on the street saving lives.
Stephanie accepts her Certificate from Deputy Director Webb, EMS council President Leo Scattia, And Director Atkins
