At 8:17 pm on Thursday Jan 14 Stations 12, 22 and an Engine from Station 23 were dispatched for a reported House Fire on Willow St. in West Grove Borough. Chester County immediately re-dispatched for a House Fire now reported with entrapment, adding Medic 94. Deputy 23 arrived shortly after dispatch reporting smoke showing. Chief 22 then requested the working fire dispatch adding Rescue 27 for RIT, Additional units from 23, Fire Marshal's, Utilities and Relocates.
Engine 22 arrived on scene, stretched a 1 3/4" cross lay, made entry into the basement and knocked the fire down. The subject reportedly trapped was found to be out of the house. Ladder 22 and Engine 23-2 assisted with horizontal ventilation. Remaining 12, 22 and 23 units assisted with overhaul. Fire Marshals are investigating the fire. Units cleared the scene at 10:24 PM.
