| The West Grove Fire Company's newest fire engine is on display this week at the Fire Department Instructors Conference held each year at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.
The new Engine 22-2 is featured in the exhibit hall as a key apparatus displayed by the manufacturer - Seagrave -- one of hundreds of fire apparatus on display at what is considered the premier fire and rescue exhibition and conferences held internationally each year. More than 800 companies exhibit at the multi-day event which also includes education sessions for first responders as well.
The new engine is a nearly-identical twin to the current Engine 22-1 and will return to West Grove soon to join the WGFC fleet soon.
This is not the first WGFC fire truck to be showcased at FDIC -- Antique 22, also known as Elsie -- was displayed there in 2014. |
