Thank you to the Chester County Department of Emergency Services for supporting a joint training program this week with our partners from the Avondale Fire Company.
Fire & EMS first responders had the opportunity to tour the new Chester County Mobile Command Unit & EMS POD Truck, both of which can assist the departments on large scale incidents. The new Command Unit can assist in major incidents with a dedicated space for command staff and comes equipment with radio personnel. The POD trailer, one of several stored strategically around the County is filled with EMS equipment for mass casualty emergencies -- this unit is based nearby at the Cochranville Fire Company 27.
Thank you to all of the members and staff who attended and the DES personnel who took the time to educate our teams.
