Firefighters from the West Grove Fire Company assisted our partners at the Cochranville Fire Company 27 on a crash this morning with confirmed entrapment in Londonderry Township, at the intersection of Faggs Manor and Daleville Roads.
Responding with two ambulances, a field piece, engine and fire police, the WGFC first responders assisted in helping to remove an entrapped victim in a car that had crashed into the rear of a fuel truck. Firefighters used hydraulic rescue tools to help remove the driver who was transported to an area hospital. The combined crews operating on the scene freed the patient in 25 minutes.
