First responders from across the area including from the West Grove Fire Company were part of an open house celebration of the arrival of a new ER in Jennersville.

Engine 22-1, Squad 22, Ladder 22 and WGFC ambulances were on display as hundreds of local residents lined up to get a sneak peak tour of the new ER which now plans to open August 12. Christiana Care has renovated the former east wing of the Jennersville Hospital and will operate a 24-hour-per-day emergency department, an opening highly anticipated ever since the closing of JRH several years ago.

A large health fair was set up in the parking lot, with information stations, food trucks and games for kids all while tours were offered of the 20-bed facility. For more information on the new emergency department, see the links below.
