WGFC was dispatched to assist the Union Fire Co. of Oxford 21 on this commercial fire on Lower Oxford on Monday.

Monday afternoon just past 1:30pm the Union Fire Company No. 1 along with mutual aid from West Grove, Quarryville, Rising Sun, and Longwood, were dispatched to the 1000 block of Hopewell Road In Lower Oxford Township for a commercial structure fire.
First arriving Oxford units found a 2-story commercial wood working business with smoke showing from the rear. Crews located a fire in a dust collector machine next to the building and prevented it from extending into the building. WGFC first responders were on scene for about 45 minutes.
