A two vehicle crash sent one person to the hospital on Friday evening.
The West Grove Fire Company was dispatched for a medical emergency at a vehicle crash in London Britain Township just after 7:45pm at the intersection of New London and Good Hope Roads in Franklin Township. Shortly after that, the emergency was upgraded to an auto accident, with the fire units added along with Medic 94 paramedics. The WGFC sent an ambulance, along with Engine 22-1, Squad 22 and Engine 22-3.
Engine 3 arrived from the nearby station in London Britain Township and reported a two vehicle crash, with the ambulance and PA State Police on location. Engine 3 was assisted by Squad 22 with crews helping to clean up the scene, while Ambulance 22's crew and Medic 94 evaluated and transported a patient to Christiana Hospital. WGFC fire police assisted in managing Route 896 with one lane of traffic during the incident.
Crews cleared the accident and then handled an odor investigation call inside a residence in London Grove Township just after returning to
WGFC units cleared in about 30 minutes. |
