Learning new skills and honing existing skills is constant and important work for firefighters.
One of those skills is forcible entry -- using hand tools to get through locked doors. Recently, on a drill night, WGFC first responders used a training simulator that makes it possible to realistically simulate forcible entry and practice various tools and entry approaches.
The WGFC thanks our friends at the Keystone Valley Fire Company (Parkesburg area) for the use of their forcible entry tool training simulator for this training evolution.
