The West Grove Fire Company was dispatched at 1:14am on September 16 for a crash in London Britain Township.
Engine 22-3, Engine 22-1, Rescue 22, and Ambulance 22-4 and fire police responded. Engine 22-3 arrived on location for a report of a vehicle sitting atop a large pile of logs at the intersection of New London Road (Route 896) and Southbank Road.
The ambulance crew evaluated the driver and the engine crew checked for safety issues. The balance of the assignment was recalled. The scene was turned over to the state police and tow services, with WGFC units clearing in about 45 minutes.

In leaving the roadway, the car passed amazingly between a power pole and its guidewire before crossing Southbank Road and hitting the tree limbs.
This car left the roadway on 896 in London Britain Township and struck a pile of logs. Engine 22-3 is on scene.
The car wound up on top of several of the large tree limbs piled alongside the road.
