A reported crash with entrapment had West Grove Fire Company first responders alerted yesterday in Franklin Township.
The County 911 Center dispatched WGFC and Medic 94 paramedics to the crash site on Chesterville Road (Route 841) south of Route 896 near Preakness Court. Initial reports suggested the driver might be trapped.
Arriving units discovered a tractor trailer loaded with large hay bales. The driver had managed to climb from the cab. The incident was scaled back, and ultimately turned over to the State Police to await heavy wreckers to right the truck and trailer and get it back onto the roadway.
