The West Grove Fire Company has announced it's line officers for 2021.
At the WGFC, the volunteer membership elects the Fire Chief, who then appoint the line officers who will lead emergency operations. Justin Gattorno was re-elected Fire Chief for 2021 on December 9. The Chief appointed his chief officers, who then together selected the rest of the line officers.
"This year's officers represent a mix of deep experience in fire and rescue skills and some outstanding junior officers who are just joining the ranks of leadership," said Fire Chief Justin Gattorno. "We have been very fortunate at West Grove to have a history of strong fire leadership, and we recognize and thank everyone who has served before us. The role of a leader is not simply at the fire scene - a good leader must coach, teach, train, protect and set the right example for the volunteer and career staff. I'm excited to lead this team in 2021."
