Members of the West Grove Fire Company marked the passing of Donna L. Brown of Landenberg at a memorial service recently.

Donna was a Life Member of the WGFC, and served as a volunteer member since 1991. She was an officer as well, serving as Treasurer of the former Ambulance Division, and Treasurer of the Fire Police. Donna was an emergency medical technician and was a very active member of the fire police.

Donna was the spouse of Virginia Noblit, who also was a Life Member of the Fire Company -- they were partners for more than 37 years. Ginny was also an EMT and active in the Ambulance Division, and often, in later years, would ride along with Donna to keep her company on her fire police calls.

At the fire company, Donna was a dedicated volunteer, putting countless hours in helping to run calls and manage the Ambulance Division finances. We honor her service to the Avon Grove community and her friendship and companionship as a long-time member of the fire company family.
