Early Morning Auto Accident In New London Twp.

Early Saturday morning Station 22 was dispatched for an Auto Accident at the intersection of Newark Rd. and Hess Mill Rd. Initial information provided from dispatch was a single vehicle into a pole with unknown injuries. Ambulance 122-1 was first on the scene reporting a pick-up truck into a pole with no victim(s) found. Rescue's 1 & 2 responded along with Utility-22 and WGFC Fire Police. Rescue-2 arrived established command and started an area search using a Thermal Imaging Camera in an attempt to locate any victims which was negative. Rescue-1 was returned to cover the district and Fire Police assisted PSP with traffic control.

Once the vehicle was removed from the damaged utility pole and there was no further hazards the remaining units cleared the scene.
