Relocate to KVFD and a Mutual Aid Assist to Station 23

The day started off for the West Grove Fire Company with a Ladder truck relocate to Keystone Valley Fire Company's main station while their crews fought a building fire in downtown Parkesburg. The WGFC crew stood by on station for approximately 3 hours while KVFD battled the blaze, clearing the assignment at 10:38AM.

Later in the day the company was dispatched for an Engine, Rescue, Ladder and Tanker to assist Avondale Fire Company, Station 23, with an out building. The fire reportedly started in a shed within very close proximity to the house. Engine 23-1 arrived with orders from Chief 23 to stretch 2 pre-connected hand lines to the rear of the structure, Ladder 22 arrived moments later laddered the building and assisted Engine 23-1's crew with the 2nd hand line. Crews worked on scene extinguishing the blaze and performing overhaul for approximately 2 hours. Chief 23 held Command, Deputy 22-Operations and Chief 22-Water Supply.
