With Santa on the front bumper of Rescue 22-1, the West Grove Fire Company wrapped up its last Santa Escort with a visit to Chimienti Drive off of Avondale-New London Road on Christmas Eve. Delighting children with a surprise visit, Santa was then whisked back to his sleigh to continue worldwide deliveries of presents.

The WGFC conducted Santa visits to nearly 30 different neighborhoods over the course of month of December. Led by Chairperson Charles Foy, the Santa escort committee included many of the WGFC's volunteers in an annual tradition that is anticipated by area children, parents and fire company members alike.
