West Grove Fire Company members traveled to Chester County's new Public Safety Training Campus to train with standpipes and leader lines on Monday November 2, 2015. The goal of the training was to better prepare for fires that can occur in large commercial buildings or residences that are large or have large property set backs. The training activities were prepared by WGFC's training officer and training committee. There were Chester County PSTC instructors on hand to operate the props and critique the evolution's. 23 members (all but one were volunteer members) took 4 hours out of their Monday evening to travel to South Coatesville to take part in this training to better prepare WGFC and to better protect our citizens from these types of fires.

I would like to thank the training committee for an excellent training session. The WGFC community should feel safe knowing that we have these firefighters and EMT's ready to respond to their next emergency.
