The West Grove Fire Company is pleased to announce that Rob Cazillo has been selected for the department’s full-time EMT/Firefighter position. Mr. Cazillo has been a part-time EMT/Firefighter with West Grove since 2013. He was chosen by the career staff committee from a pool of extremely qualified applicants. Captain Jeffrey Simpson, Chairman of the Career Staff Committee, made the announcement on July 28. Rob will fill the position as of September 1.

Rob is 28 years old. He is a graduate of Octorara High School. He and his wife Caiti have two daughters together, Addison and Kylie. He has been an EMT for 13 years and a firefighter for 7 years. His resume is one that he should be proud of. Besides EMT and Firefighting training, Cazillo has obtained additional training in vehicle operations, vehicle rescue, Haz-Mat, rapid intervention, incident safety officer, aerial operations and pump operations. He has been a volunteer at Keystone Valley Fire Department since its conception and currently serves as Deputy Chief. When not spending time with the fire service, he enjoys hunting, fishing and golf.

Upon hearing of the career staff committee’s decision, Fire Chief Eric Felker commented, “EMT/Firefighter Cazillo is already a valuable asset to our company. He is a great addition to our full-time career staff. His skills and experience will assist the West Grove Fire Company in delivering superior emergency services to our community.”

We look forward to many years of service from Rob. Along with the other department members and employees, Cazillo will make West Grove and the surrounding communities a better place to live.
