On Saturday January 31, 2015, at 14:05 hours, Chester County Fire Board dispatched the West Grove Fire company to the 100 block of E. Hillendale Road to assist Kennett Fire Company (Station 24) on a working house fire. Within minutes of dispatch, Tanker 22 and Engine 32 made the response. Tanker 22 arrived onscene and supplied their water to the water supply operation of the incident. The crew from the Tanker went up to the scene to assist with suppression operations. Engine 32 arrived onscene and staged in the manpower pool. Shortly thereafter, the crew was sent to the front of the house to assist in overhauling the 2nd floor bedroom in search of hotspots. The bulk of the fire was previously knocked, but extensive overhaul was needed on the structure to eliminate all remaining hot spots. After the situation was under control command asked the crew from Engine 32 to assist in breaking down the water supply operations. Crews operated on the scene until being released at 16:41 hours.

Engine 32 just left the fire scene when Chester County Fire Board notified them that the company was being dispatched to assist Aetna Fire Company (Newark DE) on a house fire in Barksdale Estates. Engine 32 acknowledged and responded until being notified minutes later that the assignment was recalled, Engine 32 went available.

While Engine 32 was making their way back to the station, West Grove EMS was dispatched for an unconscious victim in Penn Township. Since Ambulance 12-1 was previously on another call, EMS units from Avondale and Oxford were dispatched. Engine 32 was in the vicinity and went to the scene to assist EMS with patient care. Ambulance 12-1 made quick turnaround at the hospital and arrived onscene along with EMS from the Union Fire Company (Oxford). Crews assisted in patient stabilization and removal; transporting the patient to the awaiting ambulance. Once the ambulance went enroute to Christiana Hospital, Engine 32 went available at 17:21 hours, returning to quarters and getting the apparatus back in service from the fire response.
