WGFC Volunteer Recognized for Community Service

Volunteer firefighter Rob Kloss has been recognized for his work serving the community as a member of the West Grove Fire Company.

Recently, the leadership of Region #8 of the World Tang Soo Do Association, the world's association committed to promoting the martial arts, recognized Rob for his dedication to community service through is volunteer service in the fire company. Rob was presented a plaque at the Region's annual meeting, where Rob was inducted into the 2014 Hall of Fame.

In addition to being a volunteer firefighter, Rob is known for his career work as a Senior Instructor and General Manager of the Korean Martial Arts Institute / Hockessin Karate.

The plaque was presented to Rob on October 25 by Grandmaster Robert E. Beaudoin, Grandmaster of Region #8.

Rob has been a member of the WGFC since 2008. His wife Nicole is also a volunteer EMT. Rob was recently recognized by the fire company as one of the top ten fire responders for the past year. He also serves as company Chaplain. We salute his accomplishments and are proud of his volunteer service to the greater Avon Grove community.
