Tractor Accident in New London

At 1310 hours on May 30, 2014 the West Grove Fire Company and Southern Chester County EMS Medic 94 was dispatched to 400 block of Mount Hope Road in New London Township for an accident reported serious.

Chester County 911 center advised responding units that the accident involved a tractor vs. tree. Assistant Chief Hannan was the first arriving officer on scene confirming a tractor accident and established “Mount Hope Command.” The tractor operator was found outside of the vehicle upon arrival. Rescue 22, Amb 22-1 arrived on the scene and performed patient care and controlled vehicle hazards. Amb 22-1 & Medic 94 transported one to Christiana Trauma Center for evaluation.

West Grove Units remained on the scene during tractor removal by Nulls towing.
