The Honorable Andrew W. Dinniman, Pennsylvania State Senator representing the 19th District, visited the West Grove Fire Company at the May members meeting to honor fireman and officer Mike Predmore.

Known simply in Chester County as Andy, Senator Dinniman honored Firefighter Predmore -- who recently passed away after an illness -- for a lifetime of public service to the greater Avon Grove community. The State Senator presented a resolution adopted by the State Senate to Mike's wife Lori. Also attending were Mike's daughter Lauren and son Mike Jr. (who is an active WGFC fireman).

Formal resolutions from the state legislature are designed to designate significant events and outstanding contributions in service to the citizens of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Such recognition is testimony to what we know about Mike Predmore, and his dedication to emergency services.

"We are grateful for this formal and distinguished recognition of our fallen officer and volunteer who committed so much of his life in service to his community," said Eric Felker, WGFC Fire Chief. "Senator Dinniman has always been supportive of the fire service throughout his career, and we are grateful that he has taken the leadership to honor Mike Predmore and share this honor with the Predmore family," said John Chambers, WGFC President.
