At 0725 the West Grove Fire Company was alerted for a reported vehicle fire on Valley rd in Penn twp. Within minutes the assignment was upgraded to a building response by the Chester County Fireboard due to a very close exposure to a house. Deputy 22 arrived on location and confirmed the initial report with a travel trailer fully involved. Ladder 22 and Tanker 22 arrived with orders to stretch a pre-connected 1.75" handline, cool the exposure then attack the trailer fire. Crews successfully knocked down the visible fire. Engine 22's crew pulled a second handline to assist with the extinguishment while Engine 23-2's crew checked the exposure with a thermal imaging camera for any potential extension. The situation was quickly placed under control and crews performed minor overhaul after the county fire marshals investigated the incident.
