West Grove Fire Company was invited to participate in a training day at the Hospital of the University of Pennyslvania (HUP) with the emergency department and trauma service. The goal was to aid in showing the trauma staff what confines we work in pre-hospitally and the tools we use prior to the patient arriving in their trauma bay. It was a great experience for our members as well as the emergency department and trauma team. Thanks to EMT's Michael Lindsay and Danielle Hughes and EMT Student Mackenzie Swain for representing us so well. We look forward to future training opportunities with the HUP ED and Trauma staff.
