2 vehicle Crash on Baltimore Pike

Around 1035 hours West Grove Fire Company was dispatched to an auto accident involving two vehicles blocking Baltimore Pike in front of Jenners Pond Road.

Captain 22 arrived on scene and reported two vehicles blocking Old Baltimore pike. Ambulance 22-1 arrived on scene a short time later. The ambulance treated and transported one patient to Christiana Hospital.

Rescue 22 and Brush 12 arrived on scene, crews were instructed to sweep up debris, secured the vehicles, and spread oil dry. Fire Police ran one lane of traffic around the scene while the hazards were being cleaned up and tow trucks were picking up the vehicles.

Once the vehicles were towed away by Rivera's Towing, Captain 22 cleared all West Grove units.

Ambulance 22-1 cleared Christiana Hospital and went available at 1215 hours.
