The West Grove Fire Company would like to remind residents, as you change your clocks ahead on Sunday 3/10/13 that you change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms as well. As mundane as this task seems, it is proven to save lives. Changing your batteries twice a year, when the clocks are adjusted for Daylight Savings Time, ensures that you always have a fresh supply of batteries in these life saving devices.
