Assist Longwood Station 25 on a House Fire.

On Thursday July 1, 2010 at 03:57, the Longwood Fire Company was dispatched for a house fire on Center Mill Road in Kennett Township. At 04:07 the dispatch center upgraded the assignment to a working fire. Shortly after the upgrade, Assistant 25 ordered for a first alarm tanker task force. Tanker 22 went enroute with Chief 22 and a firefighter M. Glass at 04:16. Before Tanker 22's arrival onscene, the fire was upgraded to a second alarm. Tanker 22 arrived onscene to stage on Center Mill Road. At 04:38, Engine 22 went enroute with the second alarm. Engine 22 arrived onscene and sent its crew up to the scene to enter the manpower pool. The Engine's crew (5) was sent to the rear of the house to salvage some personal property that had not been touched by fire. At 05:06, the fire was placed under control. After assisting with hitting some hot spots on the A, D corner and removing more personal property from the house Engine 22 returned available at 06:19 per "Center Mill Command."
