At 1850 hours on Friday, Station 22 and 12 were dispatched to an electrical fire inside, at the Oxford Trailer Park. The homeowner stated that they can smell something burning. After the homeowner saw that the siding was melting the electric to the house was shut off.
Engine 12 went enrout and shortly after engine 22 hit the streets. Engine 12 arrived on scene with a one story trailer with nothing showing from the exterior. Engine 12's crew started to peel back the siding and metal to expose where the fire has originated. The officer on Engine 12 told Engine 22's crew to go inside the residence to check for any extension. 22's crew found nothing inside and went to assist 12's crew with the exterior.
Lt. 22A placed the scene under control at 1922 hours and all 22 and 12 units went available shortly after.
