Continuing to invest in the future of the fire department and build on a culture of continuous training and learning, four first responders from the West Grove Fire Company traveled to Pennsylvania's state capitol on October 29. Assistant Chief Tyler Simpson, Career Assistant Chief Rob Cazillo, Past Chief Eric Felker (who is now Chief at Tredyffrin-Easttown), and firefighter Pat Kilroy attended the Command & Leadership Forum in Harrisburg as part of the PA Fire Service Credentialing Program, held in partnership with the PA Municipal League and the PA Career Fire Chiefs Association. The Forum was a dialog about key challenges and opportunities in the fire service, conversations essential to building the next generation of leadership of fire service leadership.
