| West Grove firefighters responded to a reported fuel link in Penn Township Tuesday along Route 796 near the Penn London elementary school.
Engine 22-1 handled the call and found a large truck / crane combination leaking diesel fuel from a tank puncture. The damage was likely caused from a rock at a job site the same morning. Crews used oil dry materials to handle the leaking fuel until a tow service arrived to secure the leaking saddle tank.
WGFC fire police assisted with managing traffic during the incident. This is an example of the variety of calls that come into the WGFC on any given day. |
