WGFC Participates in 9-11 Commemorative Events

First responders from the West Grove Fire Company participated in two events Friday, commemorating the 25th anniversary of September 11.

At the Avondale firehouse, first responders from the WGFC, Avondale Fire Company, Kennett Regional Fire Department, Medic 94, PA State Police, and the Southern Chester County Regional Police took a moment of remembrance and reflection at the 9-11 Memorial Garden at the Avondale station. Many lives were lost that day, including a large number of firefighters and first responders. All were remembered.

Also on Friday, first responders of all kinds were celebrated by the children and staff of the Avon Grove Charter School in Kembelsville. Hundreds of children participated in the event. We are grateful for the invitation and the acknowledgement.
