West Grove Fire Company's Engine 22-1 and Tanker 22 assisted the North East Fire Company at a barn fire in Cecil County for several hours on Tuesday.

The WGFC was dispatched at 8:57am, with engine crews assisting with operating hand lines, while Tanker 22 hauled three loads of water (approximately 10,000 gallons). WGFC joined with multiple other mutual aid companies to assist North East Station 4 at the two-alarm blaze.

West Grove units returned to quarters nearly four hours later.
