House Fire Dispatch in Lamborn Hunt

West Grove Fire Company first responders and area mutual aid companies were dispatched to a reported house fire in London Grove Township Wednesday afternoon when a passerby noticed fire in the rear of the residence.

Units were sent to the Lamborn Hunt development off of State Road with reports that the back of a house was on fire. Engine 22-1, Ladder 22, Engine 222 and two ambulances made the response, with Engine 22-1 going on location to find a storage box located on the back side of the house had been on fire.

Fortunately, the resident had been able to keep the fire in check with a garden hose until firefighters arrived. The incident was scaled back with WGFC firefighters checking to assure the fire had not spread into the adjacent wall of the home. Units were on scene for about 45 minutes.
