For example, firefighters practiced using the equipment to ease the hauling of patients up embankments - a common challenge at auto accidents. Similar techniques can also be used in confined space and high angle rescue situations.

Firefighters gained instruction on the various components of rope hauling equipment carried on Ladder 22 and how that equipment can be configured to assure the safer and easier of moving personnel and patients. Continuous and ongoing training by the fire company helps assure first responders are ready for any emergency the firefighters may face in the field.
