| The 13th Annual Pennsylvania Fire Service "Breakfast on the Hill" was held recently in Washington, DC. Once again, first responders from the West Grove Fire Company played a key role.
The event provides and opportunities for fire service leaders to engage directly with elected federal representatives from PA and their staffs about key issues impacting fire, EMS, and rescue. The meetings are not about partisan issues, but about ensuring that those representing PA in Congress make informed decisions that protect firefighters and keep communities across Pennsylvania safe.
During the event, PA first responders with a broad range of PA elected officials at a multi-hour drop in event. Attending from the WGFC were Past President Tom Glass, Past President and event coordinator Steve "Reds" Flegal, Lt. Jack Wharry, and Asst. Chief Tyler Simpson. |
