In recognition of continuing support for the West Grove Fire Company, representatives were on hand at a recent township meeting to present a hand made fireman’s bucket to London Grove Township officials.

Over the past few years, the Township has supported the fire company by making available the Inniscrone Golf Course for the WGFC annual golf tournament, and has always been a great partner. Presenting at the meeting were Assistant Chief Tyler Simpson and President Emeritus Stephen “Redman” Flegal, who also serves as the chairperson of the golf event, now in its 22nd year.

The fire company is fortunate to have the great support of more than 80+ golfers at each event, along with countless businesses and individuals who participate as event sponsors. The golf event and sponsorships have typically been fully subscribed each year of golf event’s history. The fire company thanks everyone who supports the tournament for their contributions and continuing support for the fire company’s work for greater community.
