| At a meeting held this past weekend, the members of the AFC and WGFC approved a plan to merge the two fire companies into a single unified department. The new, as-yet-to-be-named fire company will continue to serve the same ten municipalities and operate from the existing four fire stations. It is expected to take the next year to complete the merger. For more details, please read the attached press release. |
