The members of the West Grove Fire Company have noted the passing of a long-time volunteer and armed forces veteran.

Lt. Col. James "Jim" Weber of the Ovations community in Penn Township passed away on Friday, June 6 at the age of 79. Jim Weber was a volunteer in the fire company, serving actively in the fire police. We also honor Jim's service to his country, as he served in the armed forces for 22 years, retiring from active duty in 1990 as a Lt. Colonel.

Our thoughts are with the Weber family as we remember this community volunteer and veteran.
