Past Chief W. Forrest Hammond rode on Tanker 22 during the annual West Grove Memorial Day Parade on Saturday.

Chief Hammond has been a member of the fire company for more than 70 years, and served as Fire Chief from 1977-1978. On Saturday, he looked sharp in his formal Class A WGFC Uniform, riding with Tom Glass in Tanker 22.

The fire company showed off its fleet to the hundreds who lined State Road and Prospect Avenue as part of the nation's Memorial Day festivities.

(Thanks Tom Glass, Matt Palin and Sarah Lavelle for some photos...)

Units: Tanker 22, Engine 22-1, Engine 22-2, Rescue 22, Ladder 22, Ambulance 22-1, Utility 22-1, and Chief Command vehicles, along with WGFC fire police who helped direct traffic at various intersections.
