The West Grove Fire Company proudly displayed its apparatus at the recent Community Day at Penn Township Park.

Always a popular exhibit for kids young and old, the fire company showed off its apparatus and equipment. Kids and their parents climbed on to the apparatus, gazed at the raised ladder, and asked lots of questions.

Appearing for the last time in its current condition, Antique 22 was on display. Chairperson Mike Predmore reported that Antique 22 is about to begin an 18 month restoration to return her to her original condition. For more information on Antique 22, click on the button on the menu at left.

Fire prevention chairperson Lisa Glass had a large display of materials for children and their familes. Young future firemen and women got a chance to try on firefighting gear -- always a popular activity at WGFC displays.

Our thanks to the Penn Township supervisors for hosting this event.
