Assumption BVM Students Honor First Responders |
January 27, 2025 | |
More than 400 students of the Assumption BVM School in West Grove held a community prayer service for first responders at the school on Monday morning. In a service led by students, the school honored fire, EMS, and police first responders with readings and prayers which included language such as: "Father, every shift first responders' work requires them to be prepared and ready for whatever comes. Give them the ability to stand strong. Fill them with courage. Help them be aware of Your presence and see their need for You in every challenging situation. Together we pray the Perfect Prayer to our Father asking him to guide and lead us to heroes in this world." The students also joined all in saying a pledge to the American Flag. The West Grove Fire Company has long benefited from the support of the greater community. We are most grateful to the students, staff, and leaders of the Assumption BVM Parish and School for their show of support and prayer this morning. |
