Firefighters from the West Grove Fire Company rescued three adorable ducklings in London Grove Township on Saturday afternoon.

Employees of the Walgreens store on Route 41 at Old Baltimore Pike called the 911 Center and reported that three ducklings had fallen into a storm drain. The WGFC responded with Ladder 22 and the fire police.

Firefighter removed the storm drain cover and pulled three cute ducklings out of the drain. Fire Police Captain Craig Miller and his wife Kim -- who is also the fire company's membership secretary -- then transported the ducklings to Tri-State Bird Rescue in Newark, DE who will clean and car for the ducks until they are ready to be released back to the wild.

A bystander reported that the mother wandered away. Congratulations to the crew on this rescue!
