WGFC officers and members traveled to the County training center to show support for WGFC volunteer firefighters John Ryan and William Ginn who are about to complete Fire 1 training.

An Open House for the training class was held at the Chester County Public Safety Training Campus to allow friends and families of students witness the students during training evolutions. Ten members and officers from WGFC were on hand to show support to these two active volunteers who are completing the multi-month training program that teaches the skills necessary for firefighters to perform safely and proficiently at fire emergencies. The Open House showcased students attacking car fires, entering burning buildings, and operating saws and other equipment on roofs.

Firefighter John Ryan runs from the WGFC New London Station, and firefighter Will Ginn runs at the London Britain Station. WGFC congratulates both on their commitment to training and community service.
