WGFC Escorts AG Wildcats

Two Avon Grove Wildcat football teams are on the way to New Jersey for Regional Playoffs today, and they had an escort through and out of town from the West Grove Fire Company.

The 13U and 11U teams made the playoffs being held in Toms River, NJ. The teams boarded their bus at the Harmony Road Park in West Grove, and were escorted through town to the High School where parents and friends awaited. After a rousing cheer and remarks, the team bus was further escorted from Avon Grove High School down through Avondale where the bus continued on to NJ.

Joining Chief 22, Ladder 22 and Engine 22-2 in the escort were police cars from the Southern Chester County Regional Police and the West Grove Borough crew.

Should either team be successful at Regionals, the team would advance to games in Florida. All of us at the WGFC wish the teams well on their playoff journey.
